Wilway Docs Kitty Cat - deceased
AAA Champion Foaled 1989
Sire: Docs Tom Cat (AQHA Superior Halter Horse)
Dam: Wilway Chicks Princess K (Three Chicks Hi Time x Princess Khan
A51)
Kitty was the ultimate Appaloosa. Beauty, intelligence, trainability and sensational movement. Riding her was simply effortless. She had the natural 'go slow' movement that we strive for in today's performance horses well ahead of time. Amongst the "bunny-hoppers" and "peanut rollers" there was Kitty, floating along naturally, head hanging in the bridle without being trained. Kitty was the definition of versatility - she had amassed significant points in Halter, HUS, Hunter Hack, English Pleasure, Dressage, Hack, Western Pleasure, Trail, Western Riding, Western Horsemanship and Reining. Most of her points came from State and National Championship shows. Kitty is also the winner of the prestigious National Championship Champaign Western Pleasure, as well as being a multi National High Point Performance winner and State High Point performance winner. Kitty's success under saddle was also credit to her trainer, and best friend, Bill Norwood.
Kitty produced two coloured fillies to AQHA sires:
Wilway Juana Kitty Cat (by Wilway Juana Toby) - this mare went on to produce Wilway Docs Catalena (by Docs Aristocat) a Multi State Supreme Halter Exhibit.
Wilway Exclusive Kitten (by Tashmere Imp/Exp) - National Grand Champion halter mare, Multi State Champion and multi National Reserve Champion performance mare.
Like many of the horseworld's greats, we had to put Kitty down well before her time. She is greatly missed, and most definitely was our Once in a Lifetime horse.

Wilway Docs Tabby Cat - deceased
1998 Bay Leopard 16hh
Sire: Docs Tom Cat
Dam: Wilway Chicks Princess K
Nine years after the arrival of Wilway Docs Kitty Cat we repeated the breeding and gained yet another super filly. With big hooves to fill, Tabby set out to prove herself to be yet another sensational all rounder. Tabby was a Multi National and State Champion performance mare, State Champion Youth horse and State High Point Amateur Horse. Trained by our daughter in Youth and Amateur and campaigned occassionally under saddle with Ken Davison Performance Horses, and only sparingly shown, she achieved tremendous results.
Early 2010 Tabby was laid to rest after serious injury. We were again facing the tragedy of losing another of these incredible mares in the prime of life. It was an honour to have owned such an amazing creature.
